Introducing the New Custom Braided Brake Hose Builder
If you've ever tried to order a custom braided brake hose online, you'll know the usual drill: a contact form, a few emails back and forth, and a lot of crossed fingers that the fittings you described are the ones that actually turn up. We thought our customers deserved better — so we've completely rebuilt our Custom Braided Brake Hose Builder from the ground up.
Whether you're plumbing a track car, sorting a road restoration, or building a one-off for a project that doesn't follow any rulebook, you can now spec your hose end to end in a couple of minutes — and watch the price update live as you go.
Build it exactly how you need it
Every braided hose we make is built to order, and the new builder reflects that. You start by choosing a fitting for each end of the hose, working through five fitting families:
- Banjo — M8, M10, M10 extended, M12 and 7/16, plus a double-exit option
- Male — fixed and swivel in M10x1, M10x1.25, M12x1, 7/16x20, 3/8 UNF and 1/8 BSP
- Female — swivel nuts, circlip-groove fittings, milled-flat, VAG/Ford, Porsche, Toyota and more
- Bulkhead — fixed male, extended, female-internal and Ford circlip-groove types
- Clutch — dedicated fittings for Audi, BMW/EVO, Megane, Renault and Ford applications
For the fittings that come in different bends, you can pick straight, 20°, 45° or 90° — ideal for routing a hose cleanly around a caliper, subframe or bulkhead without kinking or fouling.

As you select each end fitting and your hose colour, the preview updates so you can see the fitting on each end and the braid colour you've chosen. Nine braid colours
Function first, but there's no reason a brake line can't look the part too. Choose from yellow, red, blue, black, orange, clear braid, purple, green or carbon-effect — priced by the millimetre so you only pay for the length you need, with a tidy ±5mm tolerance on every hose.
All the small parts, in one place
The thing that usually gets forgotten with a custom hose is the hardware around it. The new builder bundles all of that into clean image dropdowns, so you can add exactly what the job needs without a second order:
- Banjo bolts — single and double, standard and restricted turbo types, across the full thread range
- Copper washers — sized to match your banjo bolts, with quantity selection
- Hose locators — rubber donut and Types 1–6 to keep your lines tidy and secure
- Brake fitting clips — circlips, retaining clips and stainless holding brackets
- Bulkhead lock nuts — M10, 3/8 UNF, M16 and 7/16
Each accessory shows a photo, full description and price, so there's no guesswork about which part you're adding. Need a pair of washers or a handful of locators? Just set the quantity.
Made in the UK
Every hose is hand-built in-house before it ships. We use stainless braided PTFE-lined hose and quality fittings throughout, so what you build in the configurator is what arrives at your door — properly made and ready to fit.
Because each hose is custom-made to your spec, we ask that you double-check your fittings, threads and lengths before ordering — customised hoses can't be refunded if the wrong details were submitted.
