M12x1 Anodised Alloy Blanking Plug — Steering Rack Port Seal

An anodised alloy M12x1 blanking plug for sealing unused M12x1 threaded ports. Commonly used to seal the redundant hydraulic power steering ports on the Renault Clio 172/182 quick rack conversion, where the original power steering rack ports are no longer required after fitting a manual quick rack. Clio 172 / 182 Quick Rack Application

When fitting a quick rack to the Renault Clio 172 or 182, the original power-assisted steering rack is replaced with a manual quick rack. The hydraulic ports on the original rack are no longer used and must be sealed to prevent contamination and fluid ingress.
