Mini vs Standard Blade — Which Do I Need?

Mini blade fuses are physically smaller than standard blade fuses and are not interchangeable. Mini blade fuses are commonly found in modern OEM fuse boxes. Why Choose a Glow Fuse?

Standard blade fuses can be difficult to identify as blown without removing them from the fuse box. Glow fuses eliminate this problem — when a fuse blows, the indicator lights up, allowing you to identify the blown fuse instantly without removing each one individually. Ideal for motorsport wiring looms, custom fuse panels, and any application where fast fault diagnosis is important.

Selecting the Right Rating

Always select a fuse rating appropriate for the circuit being protected. The fuse should be rated slightly above the normal operating current of the circuit but below the maximum current the wiring can safely carry. Never replace a blown fuse with a higher rated fuse without first identifying and resolving the cause of the fault.
