Abarth 500/595 Suspension Top Mount Nut

The suspension top mount nut secures the strut rod to the top mount on your Abarth 500 or 595. This is a single-use self-locking nut — it must be replaced any time the strut top mount is disturbed. Reusing a previously torqued self-locking nut compromises the locking function and risks the strut rod working loose, which can cause knocking, handling instability, or in severe cases strut separation.

• Fits: Abarth 500 and 595 (front strut top mount)
• Also fits: Fiat 500 (check your vehicle specification)
• 1 nut per strut — 2 required for both sides

When to Replace

• Any time the front strut top mount is removed — single-use self-locking nut
• When fitting new shock absorbers, coilovers, top mounts, or lowering springs
• If the nut shows signs of corrosion or the locking insert is damaged
