The Powerflex lower torque gearbox mount (dogbone mount) for the Abarth 500 and 595 is a direct upgrade over the soft OE rubber mount, designed to significantly reduce drivetrain movement and improve traction under acceleration. Supplied as a combination of a polyurethane bush in Powerflex Purple material and a precision CNC machined bracket, it provides a marked improvement in drivetrain control for fast road and track use.

A slight increase in NVH (noise, vibration, and harshness) should be expected compared to the OE rubber mount — this is normal for an uprated mount and is the trade-off for improved drivetrain response and reduced wheel spin.
